EXHIBITION SEVDA CHKOUTOVA Female Lust 

Im Zentrum von SEVDA CHKOUTOVAS künstlerischem Schaffen steht die weibliche Lust in all ihrer Komplexität. Sie untersucht Doppelmoral, Sexualität und ihre dominierende Darstellung in den Medien, Normen und Einschränkungen, die den Frauen auferlegt werden. Zeichnend, vorwiegend mit Graphitstift und Tusche, umkreist sie die weibliche Welt in ihrem vollen Umfang an körperlichen Erfahrungen, Träumen und schrecklichen Visionen - fragmentarisch, vereinzelt karikierend, aggressiv, surreal, gleichzeitig aber konkret, zart und liebevoll. 

At the center of SEVDA CHKOUTOVAS artistic creation is the feminine desire in all its complexity. She examines double standards, sexuality and its dominant presentation in the media, norms and restrictions imposed on women. Drawing, mainly with graphite pencil and ink, she circles the female world in its full extent of physical experiences, dreams and terrible visions - fragmentary, occasionally caricaturing, agressive, surreal, but at the same time concrete, tender, affectionate.
